Last Saturday, I joined thousands at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta to make a difference in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The American Cancer Society "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" is an awesome organization that brings people of varied backgrounds together to educate the masses about cancer and help fight the good fight.
I've been affected deeply by the ravages of cancer as my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer 8 years ago, and I know the difficulty of loss due to this horrific beast. I wanted to support those that are beginning their fight, finished their fight, and those who are remembered for their fight. As October comes to a close, I believe the momentum will carry on and I encourage you all to continue with self-exams and our mammograms. Your life has great purpose and is important! Special thanks to my church, Impact Worship Center and First Lady Tonya Jones, for organizing this!

I had a great time at the 5th Annual Urban Magazine Lux List Awards in Atlanta on Thursday, October 9th. I was invited by my PR Agency. The festive Bahamian Carnival theme with dance performances really set the tone for the classy and sophisticated crowd.
If you really know me, you know I love class and sophistication - I mean my launch event was an ode to "Cosmopolitan Style", but back to more important things! Lentheus Chaney, Publisher of Urban Lux and his team really did a wonderful job putting this event together. The award recipients were equally amazing and even gave me some ideas as to who to feature next under our popular "My Moxie". I enjoyed feeling important by being 'talent' on the red carpet. I look forward to bringing you inside more exclusive "Moxie" perks as I journey-on helping you achieve your "Moxie" one polished, stylish step at a time! Until next time, Stay Moxie! |
Moxie Perks!Of course you can't have MOXIE without PERKS! This is where I talk alllllll about it! ArchivesCategories
