I am on the shorter side, so I don’t belt my outfits often. But I wanted to show you a different way to wear this smart work look.
The brown belt ties the look together, but it also cinches your waist. Don’t be afraid to try different things to find your look. Remember, your style does speak for you - so let it speak confidently when you where this look whether petite or tall. Since we only have a couple more weeks before Winter officially enters it's season this would be a good time to find some belts that would look good for Fall looks and can transition into Winter. Of course, my taller readers can wear more belted looks since height is on your side. Belts give the figure flattering silhouette that can make a world of a difference. Petites like me, keep in mind: you should look for outerwear that comes mid-thigh with tapered sides to show off your silhouette. It’s still okay to belt, but the tapered sides with a belt for a shorter body type works best. Do you belt or not? Let us know!

This time of year gives a bit of permission to add some spice to your wardrobe. By adding a little color to the mix, you change the outfit completely. Fall does not have to mean drab colors. Adding punches of color in outerwear or accessories can make a big difference. For example you can add a green blazer or a hot pink and it all would work as long as the belt is used to tie it all together.
The mustard is my favorite choice because it mimics the leaves that are changing due to the season. You know you're Moxie, so let it shine through with the supporting role articles of clothing. Belts, handbags, outerwear, scarves, they all can add that pop of color that make a drab outfit better. Show me how you're getting your color on this season by Tweeting me @CorporateMoxie or on Facebook! Who doesn’t like a bag that can stand on its own? Get it! I am guilty of laughing at my own jokes. Seriously, nothing speaks business like a structured purse or tote. Although some bags are strong enough to stand as the main feature, they are an accessory. This accessory, however; is an asset
It stands faithful by your side time and time again, which makes it your premier go to. You can add your pop of color or you can keep it corporate in a dark shades. Whatever your preference, you want to keep it sleek and with few embellishments. The great news is, you do not have to spend a whole lot for a wonderfully styled bag. You can find great deals on bags that are as sleek as their lux counterparts. If you shop right, you can get a couple in different colors to increase your Moxie. Style and structure rule this season, so keep it classy. Here are a few of my favorites: |
